IDAP TV IDAP TV is a training program for unemployed young people willing to get or improve their knowledge or practical experience in journalism, TV and multimedia. Their aim is to get the required experience to improve their professional situation. Each participant follows ITP own training itinerary, while preparing a product to make work become the engine of learning. A practical and motivating learning process based on the personal initiative, on reflection and on the educational IT use. To carry out ITP aims, IDAP is equipped with a complete set of digital video and multimedia. To promote youngsters social involvement, IDAP cooperates with enterprises, institutions and local media. IDAP TV participants take part in international exchanges and meetings, and make video documentaries about it as part of their own training process. IDAP TV is based on the previous training program called Layret TV (1990-1996), a pioneer program using Productive Learning in TV broadcasting and production. LAYRET TV set the beginnings of the local TV in Vilafranca del Penedès, Vilafranca TV. IDAP TV, lends ITP equipment to educational institutions, in order to improve educational materials and to promote the didactical use of television.
