Institut of Productive Learning (IDAP)

The Institute of Productive Learning Rodolf Llorens i Jordana (IDAP), attached to the Vilafranca del Penedès City Council, was set up in 1994 to promote and carry out an efficient offer to the educational needs of citizens.

- Develop new educational projects in the Productive Learning sphere, specially initiatives aimed to avoid social exclusion.

- Provide an access to the Information Technologies available to everybody and promote its educational applications.

- Promote the Catalan Network of Productive Schools (XEPS) and cooperate with the International Network of Productive Schools (INEPS), as well as promoting and hosting their activities in our country.

- Promote exchanges on Productive Learning experiences between educational institutions from our and foreign countries, emphasizing a higher level of involvement in international projects, such as partnerships, youngsters and educators exchanges and the assistance in congresses, conferences and training seminars.

- By studying the accumulated experience, have a continuous debate about the role of the school and the permanent education of people.
